Priory Wharf is an easy access venue, ideal for anglers that cannot
walk too far from their vehicles, a large car park adjacent to the
venue and it is well lit, in the Summer expect lots of eels and
dabs, as they seem to like the muddy bottom, Cod and Whiting are
within easy reach too in the winter months.
Directions
From Liverpool
Head towards Birkenhead, through the Queensway tunnel, staying
in the inside lane.
Upon leaving the tunnel, turn immediately to the left, before going
through the toll booth’s ahead of you. Two separate booths
should now be directly ahead of you.
After paying at the toll, turn right at the lights, and head straight
across.
You will come to a cross road, with Alabama way directly in front
of you. Head down Alabama way, at the end is the car park.
From from Motorways M6 / M56 & M53
Upon reaching the turn-off for Eastham / Birkenhead A41, follow
the main roundabout to the right.
As you come around, you will see a Little Chef on your left, keep
heading North on this main road. You will pass several garages on
either side as you head North towards Birkenhead.
When you reach the roundabout approaching the A41 Byppass, head
down it. When you reach the end of the bypass, continue in the right
hand lane, towards Birkenhead, you will pass an Esso garage on your
left, and then reach another roundabout, stay in the right hand
lane and continue straight ahead, the lane will merge into three
lanes, you need to continue in the middle lane under the flyover.
Turn right at the lights, you will see the sign for Priory Wharf.
You will come to a small cross roads, here you need to continue
straight ahead to ALABAMA WAY.
