Seaforth Rocks can produce
goods size cod in the winter but care must be taken when fishing
this venue, anglers have been injured in the past by slipping on
algae. Best baits are black lug with squid and a solid rod &
reel is required to haul any fish over the rocks. Although very
productive in the winter, good sized thornback rays are caught in
the autumn too. Fishing here requires you
to contact Liverpool Port Police on 0151 949 1212 and giving then
3 Days notice. This has been brought
into effect as a direct result of new Anti - Terrorism laws. Please
